AUGUST 29, 2015

Race times: set-up: 7:00 AM, starting pistol: 9:00 AM

The 2015 Garden City Triathlon had to be cancelled due to hazardous air quality conditions. The recent wildfires to the West and in the area, have created an overall unhealthy air quality. Both MTCC and Team Stampede felt it would be unfit to hold the event in these conditions. We thank everyone for their registration and support of this annual event. We look forward to having this event next year in 2016. Please stay in touch to find out more.

MTCC and Team Stampede's Garden City Triathlon features an Olympic-distance, open-water course in the heart of western Montana. With a 1.5 K swim, 10 K run and 40K bike ride the race is both triathlon-beginner friendly, and features strong competition for more seasoned racers. This year the Garden City Triathlon is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned race and racers may use their scores to qualify for other USAT events.

This event will have cash prizes available to the triathletes with the best times. Categories for different age groups are open, as well as solo and team contestants! Come out and do your best, while supporting the great causes.

Proceeds from the race benefit two great causes: Montana Campus Compact's Civic Engagement Scholarships. Campus Compact is a national coalition of colleges and universities that advance the public purposes of higher education, deepening their ability to improve community life and educate students for civic and social responsibility.
