Over the past 25 years, MTCC’s campuses have ensured that the public service mission of higher education is intentionally embedded into curriculum, that students are engaged in community as a matter of course, and that faculty help students find relevant, meaningful ways to put their learning to work in their communities. Compact campuses statewide have actively sought to work across barriers between public/private and tribal institutions, have come together to support scholarships for incoming freshmen and continuing students, supported incentives to attract and reward AmeriCorps alums to serve in our state, and created a culture of service that permeates the fabric of higher education in Montana.

In honor of all we have accomplished together with our affiliate campuses, The Governor's Office of Community Service and Reach Higher Montana, we're celebrating over 3 days - November 15, 16, and 17! Following are the events:

Thursday, November 15:
Remarks at Board of Regents Meeting: Our national Campus Compact President, Andrew Seligsohn, will be at UM to help us celebrate our 25th Anniversary.

Thursday, November 15, 5:30 PM 25th Anniversary Reception:
MT Campus Compact will be featured at a reception following the close of the Board of Regents meeting on Nov. 15 at the Payne Family Native American Center at UM, where Andrew and our board chair, President Jane Karas, will make a few remarks and toast our 25th.

Friday, November 16, 9 AM to 10 AM Administrator Forum:
Andrew will meet with a small group of our tribal college presidents and our private college presidents and/or administrators in the basement of the Davidson Honors College building, room 022. All Campus Compact CEO Council members and/or campus administrators are welcome to attend any portion of the forum. This is an ideal time to talk with Campus Compact President Andrew Seligsohn about national-level campus engagement work, and our goals for this work in Montana. There is an option to join this meeting remotely by logging into to Zoom. Please contact Kathy Peters at peters@mtcompact.org for the link.

This is an exciting time for our organization! We look forward to celebrating with all of you soon.
