Every year, the campuses that make up Montana Campus Compact come together with Reach Higher Montana and the Governor's Office of Community Service to fund 100 Youth Serve Montana Scholarships. These scholarships are made available to Montana high schoolers who will enroll in a Montana Campus Compact institution, and who have completed at least 100 hours of volunteer service in their communities. Reading these applications always gives me a lot of hope that our state, east to west, is filled with young people who care deeply about their communities, addressing inequities and making our state a vibrant place. This year with changes to the FAFSA deadline, we've moved our deadline up to January 31st 2017. That's several months earlier than it's been in the past, so we need to enlist all the help with can from service groups, nonprofits, school counselors, staff, teachers, parents, financial aid folks, etc. etc.! Please help us spread the word about this great scholarship and help us get applications from Scobey to Lima, and from Wibaux to St. Regis!
