MTCC hosts two distinct National Service programs: An AmeriCorps State program and an AmeriCorps VISTA program.

Service with MTCC is rooted in projects throughout the state of Montana that focus on educational justice, poverty alleviation, and support for veterans. Our service members spend a year with education-focused nonprofits, government agencies, schools, and faith-based organizations, creating lasting impacts in the communities they serve. Service with MTCC is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable work experience in social impact careers.

Full-time MTCC National Service members commit to one year of service in communities across the beautiful state of Montana. Members receive a living stipend, healthcare and childcare benefits when eligible, professional development opportunities, and a $6,195 Education Award that can be used to pay student loans or for future education expenses. Interested students can learn more and apply here. April 10th is the Priority Deadline to apply for full-time positions beginning in Summer 2020.

Summer members serve for 10-week periods, early June through early August in communities all around the state. To apply for a summer position, click here.
