Celebrating Service and Community Engagement

The Montana Student Volunteer Award recognizes the exceptional dedication and commitment of college students across the state who have demonstrated outstanding service to their communities while pursuing their academic goals. In collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Community Service, Montana Campus Compact affiliate campuses bestow this prestigious award upon deserving individuals who exemplify the spirit of civic engagement and volunteerism.

About the Award

The Montana Student Volunteer Award (MSVA) celebrates the remarkable contributions of college students who go above and beyond in serving their communities. Each year, campuses organize committees to seek nominations from students, faculty, and staff. Honorees are chosen through a rigorous selection process based on their demonstrated commitment to service, leadership, and community impact.

Do you know a college student who deserves recognition for their outstanding service? Nominate them for the Montana Student Volunteer Award today! Nominations open in February and close in March each year. Eligible students must be enrolled at Montana Campus Compact affiliate institutions. One nomination per campus. Help us celebrate their contributions to building stronger, more vibrant communities across Montana.

The Montana Student Volunteer Award ceremony will take place via Zoom on April 18, 2024. Nominators and students are highly encouraged to attend this special event.
