Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Montana Campus Compact is an anti-racist organization. MTCC and its affiliate campuses actively champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that regardless of one’s mental or physical ability, age, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status, all should have access to full participation in our institutions, our communities, and our democracy. Campus Compact works to actively ensure we are inclusive and that at all levels of the organization, including our governance, leadership, staff, faculty, students, and national service members, we are actively living our values.

Below are the four goals around equity and inclusion from our current strategic vision:

  1. Build internal, operational structures to support diversity and inclusion;
  2. Highlight diverse Montana students and faculty;
  3. Provide greater resources and support for AmeriCorps and VISTA members and supervisors in tribal communities; and
  4. Promote a rich learning environment for MTCC affiliates on the topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
