About Us

Montana Campus Compact (MTCC) is a CEO-led coalition of colleges and universities that support civic engagement, service learning, and volunteerism across our state. Our work to improve community life and educate students about civic and social responsibility is critically important. Our world requires thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable, and engaged leaders. We need a workforce that understands the critical role of individuals in a community. Higher education is an excellent place to teach and learn civic engagement.

Montana Campus Compact prides itself on a community-oriented philosophy that is the foundation of its programs and initiatives. We believe everything we do should cultivate strong individuals and positively impact the world. Administratively, MTCC is coordinated from a network office hosted by the University of Montana in Missoula. The network comprises thousands of dedicated students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners serving on or near college campuses throughout the state.

Our staff and volunteers strive to cultivate and provide resources, training, technical assistance, and recognition to those who want to make a difference in their communities.
